These Purchase Terms govern the sale of The Vault Box through thevaultdrop.ca. By checking the acknowledgment box at checkout and completing your purchase, you confirm that you are at least eighteen years of age and that you have read, understood, and agreed to every clause below.
The Vault Drop is a business name of 13289109 Canada Inc., a corporation incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act, operating from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. GST/HST registration number: 781267109RT0001. Email: hello@thevaultdrop.ca. All correspondence, cancellation requests, and claims should be sent to that address.
The Vault Box is a sealed box containing approximately twenty sleeved sports cards drawn from a private collection that has been sealed in storage for over twenty-seven years. Contents are placed into boxes at random. Individual box contents are not pre-selected or curated to order and cannot be influenced by the buyer.
Every box contains at least one feature card at the Platinum, Gold, or Silver tier. Feature cards are allocated across the drop at the approximate ratios published on the Odds page. Because boxes are sealed at random, those ratios describe distribution across the drop rather than a guarantee for any individual box. Some boxes contain more than one feature card.
Some boxes contain a sealed factory set, signed memorabilia, or another collectible item in place of or alongside cards. Card counts vary between boxes.
No monetary value, retail value, minimum value, resale value, or investment return is quoted, guaranteed, or implied for any box or any item within a box. What is being purchased is the sealed box itself, not a financial outcome.
Photographs, descriptions, and tier classifications on the site illustrate the categories of item that appear in the collection. They are not a representation that any specific item appears in any specific box.
All cards and memorabilia are raw and ungraded. No item has been submitted to PSA, BGS, SGC, CSG, or any other grading or authentication service, and none will be. No representation is made as to the condition, grade, grade potential, or authenticity of any item.
The collection has been stored in protective conditions, but no representation is made as to the condition of any individual item.
The Vault Box is $99 CAD or $79 USD for a single box. Per-box pricing decreases at higher order quantities, as displayed on the order page.
Prices displayed on the site are exclusive of sales tax. Applicable GST or HST is calculated at checkout based on your shipping province, at the rate set by that province. The subtotal, tax, and total payable are all shown before you confirm payment. Orders shipped outside Canada are zero-rated for GST/HST.
Amounts are expressed in Canadian dollars or United States dollars according to the currency selector on the site. The currency applied to your order is shown at checkout and on your confirmation.
Standard tracked shipping is included at no additional charge. The only optional additional charge is the express shipping upgrade, priced at checkout. There are no other charges, fees, or surcharges of any kind.
Free tracked shipping is included in the purchase price. Standard delivery is five to seven business days from dispatch. An express upgrade is available at checkout, with delivery in two to three business days from dispatch.
Orders are packed and dispatched in batches through the week. Most orders dispatch within two business days of purchase. A tracking number is emailed when the shipping label is scanned.
We ship within Canada, excluding the province of Quebec. Orders to Quebec addresses cannot be accepted.
Delivery timelines are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes on delivery to the address provided.
In addition to the rights set out below, you have rights under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002. You may cancel this agreement within seven days of receiving the written copy of it if we did not disclose the information required by that Act before you entered into the agreement, or if we did not give you an express opportunity to accept or decline the agreement and to correct errors before entering into it.
You may also cancel if we have not delivered your order within thirty days of the delivery date specified, unless you have agreed to the delay.

You may cancel any order for a full refund at any time before it is dispatched, for any reason, by emailing us with your order number.
Once a box has been opened or its seal broken, the sale is final. Opened boxes are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund, including on the basis of dissatisfaction with contents. This reflects the nature of a sealed randomised product, the contents of which cannot be verified or restored once opened.
Unopened, undamaged boxes may be returned within fourteen days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price, including tax. The seal must be intact and the box received in resalable condition. Return shipping is at the buyer’s expense.
These rights are in addition to, and do not limit, your rights under clause 7 or under applicable consumer protection legislation.

If a box arrives visibly damaged, photograph the exterior before opening and contact us within seven days of delivery.
If a sealed box is opened and found to contain damaged items, or fewer items than described, contact us within seven days of delivery. Continuous unedited video of the sealed box being opened is the clearest evidence available and we encourage buyers to film the opening, but a claim will not be refused solely because no video exists. Each claim is assessed on the information available, including our packing records.
Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store, access, or retain full payment card details. An order is accepted only on successful payment authorisation, and is confirmed by email.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and except in respect of any warranty, guarantee, or right that cannot lawfully be excluded, our total liability for any claim arising from the purchase or use of a product is limited to the amount paid for that product. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under applicable consumer protection legislation.
These Purchase Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Nothing in this clause deprives a consumer of the protection of mandatory rules of the jurisdiction in which they reside.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
We may update these Purchase Terms. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that transaction.
